To draw whakaahua for kowhatu toi
This year for the arts kete i picked Kowhatu toi with Whaea Mel.
This week we started on Practicing out pattern we have already start on the Koru, Niho taniwha, ritorito, puhoro, mangopare. We have also started on painting/priming our rock.

above is my picture and the bottom one repersent the niho taniwha.The meaning behide this pattern is the sharp teeth of an taniwha .
