It means like people can see it and it is visible
What was Jack's initial reaction to Mr. Tushman's request to show August around school?

What made Jack decide to say 'yes' to Mr. Tushman ’s request?

At first, Jack didn't want to show him around but then Jamie Jacks little brother told him that once he saw Auggie he screamed and ran away. After that Jack realized how tough school is going to be for Auggie.

Friendship can be difficult. How does Jack feel about him and August becoming Ex-friends? How does he feel when he finds out why?
Well at first, Jack didn't believe he had done anything wrong and he believes this whole drama was Auggies fault. But then after awhile, jack comes to the understanding he was in the wrong and indeed this was his fault. Jack then feels really bad and regrets doing this and goes on to apologize.
How was Jack provoked to punch Julian in the face? Explain why you think this was the right/wrong thing to do?
Julian wouldn't stop harassing Jack about being friends with Auggie, I do believe that they could have resolved this in a better way that was not physical. I don't necessarily agree with how Jack approached the situation but I do think that Julian did deserve it.  
How did reading Jack's point of view change your perception of his character?
Well from the start I had realized that Julian wasn't a really nice kid, Then once I read Jacks point of view I was reassured even more than I already was that Julian was just a bully, See After Jack had punched Julian in the face he felt bad and regretted it and believe there was other was to resolve this but Julian, on the other hand, couldn't care at all
Predict how you think Auggie will react to the news that Jack punched Julian. What effect will it have own their friendship? Well, I think that maybe Auggie might be a bit mad at Jack for hurting other but then he could also be happy that Julian got punched in the face.
Discuss the motivations for Julian's mum to photoshop August out of the class photo and it’s the message it sends to Julian.
Juilans mum doesn't like Auggie she didn't even want him in the class photo, I believe that this is just showing Julian that treating people poorly, Rudely and being judgemental is okay.
What do you make of Mrs Albans' statement that August is handicapped?
Do you think she was correct when she said it places too much of a burden on the kids to befriend August? I disagree a lot with that statement Yes Auggie might have difficulty Doing something eg: Eating But that doesn't stop him from living a normal life like all the other students. Now the burden Mr. Tushmandid not tell anyone that they had to be friends with Auggie all he said was to be nice.
Mrs Alban also thought that August shouldn't have been allowed into Beecher Prep. Do you agree or disagree? Explain.
I completely disagree, Auggie difficulty does not stop him from being a normal student. Yes, he may look a bit different but he should be accepted on his ability just like everyone else.
How did Jack handle being frozen out by all the boys at Beecher Prep? He pretty much hated it, Jack felt like he had been watching the whole time which doesn't always feel the nicest especially when u know that they don't like you.

In at least a paragraph, describe the challenges do you think Via might face being Auggie’s sister? Via Might be feeling lonely, Unwanted, Angry But she doesn't complain about it. Via is a really strong independent girl who doesn't like to worry her parents. Via Must feel bad for Auggie and want to protect him like she has for her self over all the years. If I was Via I don't know how I would handle everything all by my self.

Via says “August is the Sun.” Explain what she means and why she feels this way? What Via is trying to say is that Auggie is the sun that all the planet's orbit, Meaning that Mum Dad and Via (are the planets) and Everything revolves around Auggie

Do you agree with Via that she and her parents have made a mistake by always trying to make August feel like he is normal? Is this a problem? Explain. Yes, I think it was a good idea to send him to school, I also think that it was a good idea to send him Because of so many years he has been trapped at home with his mum Homeschooling him all because of bullies. Overall that time I think that he could have been at school Building up his self of esteem and confidence.

Why does Via go by Olivia at high school? Via goes near Olivia so she can keep her home life and school life separate

What are the odds of Via having a child that looks like August? Do you think these are good odds? Explain. I think that there this 50% chance of Via having a child that looks like Auggie But there is nothing wrong with it either way, But there is no possible way to find out until she gives birth to the child.

Explore the character, Miranda? Why did she call August at the end of Part 2? Explain
Miranda is one of Via's friend's like all girls at this age is struggling to keep the friendship together, Miranda had made new friends over the summer break, unlike Via. Miranda is having trouble admitting that she missed Via to her face But could over her phone.

Describe Via as a character? Do you empathize with her?
Via is a very caring, Loving, Empathic person. Via had kept everything to her self over all the years of growing up, As she didn't want to worry her parent's because they had all the struggles with Auggie. I empathize Via because she is a very strong independent young lady who has learned to deal with her problems on her own. But now she is in high school she needs to open up to someone.

What do you think will happen to August when he returns to school?

Auggie is gonna have to come to the conclusion that he is going to have to solve this problem eventually, As much Auggie doesn't want to he is going to have to deal with this.

What were your thoughts prior to eating/How did that change after eating: I thought that I would hate it, also that I would dislike that it had no meat. But after eating that I actually really enjoy cooking and eating The foods was good and if I hadn't made it I would have thought it had meat in it.

Why is it good to have one vegetarian meal a week: Vegetables are nutrient powerhouses and add color and texture to your meals. Try leafy greens such as kale, collards, bok choy and broccoli for good plant sources of calcium. plus it saves animals

Meat supply us with protein and iron give an example of a vegetable that offers this as well: Pea, BEans, nut, seeds, vegetables, spinach, kale, potatoes.

Star Wars is one of Auggie’s passions. Why do you think this is? Do you see any reasons for Auggie to identify with these characters, or to aspire to be like them? I think that Auggie passion is Star Wars because In Star Wars they cover faces with like Masks type of things. As Auggie is very embarrassed and ashamed when it comes to his face.

What questions did Julian ask August and why did August want to slide under the desk? Explain why Julian asked those questions? Julian kept asking a question about star wars mainly Darth Sidious because he has a messed up face just like Auggie

Mr. Browne’s September Precept was 'When given the choice between being right or being kind, choose kind'. I think there is always a time to be right and kind. Auggie position I would prefer to be kind to him Because his whole life people have been giving him dirty looks, Pointing him out to people, Talking about him wondering about what happened to his face.

In the chapter One to Ten, August is feeling mad with his mother but he's not sure why. Explain why you think he was mad? He got mad because his mum had lied to him about having to go to a public school.

August invited his whole class to his birthday party but not many kids came. Why do you think they didn't go? Some kids I believe actually couldn't make it but other maybe its because they didn't like Auggie, Maybe it was because of his face. Most of the kids in his class won't even touch him so I don't think they are going to go out of their ways to make it to his birthday party.

August says he has an 'Aversion' to getting his picture taken. What is an aversion? Why does Auggie have an aversion to having his picture taken? Aversion mean's to really dislike or disinclination something. In Auggie situation, his aversion is taking picture's and I think that this is because he is insecure about his face and what he looks like.


Why does no one want to touch August? How do you think this makes him feel? Well, I think that nobody wants to touch him because they might "catch his disease" With is actually impossible because he was born that way so. But I feel that Auggie much be sad that his own classmates wont even touch him and only go near him once the teacher tell them to.

Did your opinion of Jack Will change after August overheard him talking to Julian? Explain. Yes, It changed very quickly that Jack Will would prefer to be popular and hang out with people like Julian than have a good genuine friend like Auggie. I fell quite bad for Auggie because he feels like his own "friend" turns on him to be cool.

Do you think August will go back to school? Predict what will happen next?  Well if I was Auggie I would prefer not to go back to school but I think he will, I think that he will want to be strong and stand up for him self.
