Wonder English Part 5/6/7 9Hh 2018

Why was Justin nervous when he was going to meet Olivia's parents? How did it show? How did it work out? Justin was really nervous to meet them, But in the end, It turns out all fine as their parents are very kind to him. Justin like many other twitches when they are nervous.
Why does Justin greet the different members of the family in four different ways? Explain each greeting. He greets all of them differently to show how he is towards each family member, For example, he greets via's dad's hand to show the respect he has for him as well to show braveness.
In the bus stop chapter, Justin told Julian and his friends to leave Jack alone. Was this a good thing to do? I am unsure whether it was a good or bad thing as Julian is a bully, hopefully Julian will listen to Justin and start leaving him alone.
In the chapter titled Bird, Via states that she is 'an awful person'. Why do you think she feels this way? Is she right? Via is nowhere near an awful person he whole life she had been bottling up her feeling and keeping that to her self so her parents can focus on Auggie, Now she can no longer keep it to her self and she is finding that hard to handle and is starting to blame her self.
In what ways is Part Five different from the other Parts in the book?
Because she starts opening up to her feeling.

Part 5/6 can do
VOCABULARY - Find the meanings of the following words:
Dissed- Speak disrespectfully to or criticize.
Sarcastically- In an ironic way intended to mock or convey contempt.
Tics-  A  habitual spasmodic contraction of the muscles, most often in the face.

MUSICAL- Via and Justin are enjoying Valentine's day. Find a song that you think they might listen to together to celebrate the holiday. Be sure to explain why you think it fits the situation and their personalities. I think that Via and Justin will listen to Perfect (Ed Sheeran and Beyonce) because they are quite young and they are both very popular singer, and I think that they will listen to it because it is a very romantic song for a couple Perfect

 Part 6
Explain why August doesn't like school events that include parents?
Because of Auggies disability, it brings a lot(to much) attention to him, It must really suck walking into a room and everyone stares and not for a good reason and I could never imagine what goes thru Auggies mind when everyone steer's Maya left August a nice little note and August said, "Six months ago stuff like that would have never have happened, but now it happens more and more." Explain the change that is occurring?
Everyone is starting to get used to Auggie and now people are starting to come to the conclusion that Auggie is just as normal as them
Describe August's feeling about getting hearing aids. Well, he must have thought that more people would have made fun of him/picked on him about them as they are obvious.
Why did Via keep her part in the play a secret from her parents? Why did Via's mum say the play wasn't something that August would be interested in? Via doesn't want to people just to think of her as the 'girl with the deformed little brother' Also, Auggies mum finally realized this and now understands Via'a point a view.
August says, "I think there should be a rule that everyone in the world should get a standing ovation at least once in their lives.” Explain what this means and why he believes it.
In my opinion, it means everyone should at least in there life should feel like they are wanted and appreciated.
What effect did Daisys’ death have on the characters? Dasiy's death has really messed with the whole family's emotions, Starting with Auggie seeing his dad cry for the first time.

Part 7

Why did Miranda claim ‘sickness’ before the play?
Because her family didn't come but she had seen that Vias family was there, and I guess this was her way of making it up to via.
After reading Miranda's, how did your perception of her change and why?
Well, I feel like she really is changing as a person, and it is for the better. I feel bad for her as her mum is drifting away from her, and she has all the weight of the lie's she told on her shoulders, But I do believe that Miranda is a good person
